As time has passed, the ingredients of this stock powder have changed. For this reason you will find the first version which is paleo and vegan friendly. The second version is the SCD one.

My original free from corn version was adapted to my family’s dietary needs and inspired by Vedgedout. At one point, there was an intolerance to garlic and onion so the first version below has these as optional. Even without the garlic and onion, this is a wonderful seasoning mix that I use for just about everything. See notes below for some examples.

For the SCD version, scroll down below the original recipe here.

SCD Version

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender.

  2. Blend on high until a fine powder results.

  3. Store in a glass jar in pantry.

Notes:

  • Rather than waste the powder in the  Blendtec jar, I add water, run the "Clean" setting & use the liquid as a sauce base. Another option is to run the "Hot Soup" setting & make stock. I tend to use this seasoning powder in much of my cooking. Some examples: soup, sauces such as this Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce, flavoring in this Cashew cheez crumbles/spread, ground beef, meatballs, burgers, sautéed or roasted veggies,  Kale Chips, etc.  The possibilities are endless & because this is made at home with safe for you ingredients, you can rest assured that you’ll have an all-purpose seasoning on hand.

  • For soup: try 1 Tbsp. per 1 cup of water & adjust according to your palate.
