Allergy-Conscious Crème Brulée
If you have ever wanted a super creamy crème brulée with a nice chocolate flavor that is dairy-free, egg-free and paleo, then this recipe is for you! Do you need more reasons to love this recipe? If so, here are some more:
It is super simple to make.
The flavor is kid-friendly while also being a sophisticated dessert.
It is healthy enough to be a morning pudding.
I hope that I have convinced you to try it, but if not, imagine it with some fresh berries and maybe that will do the trick. I can’t wait to hear what you think of this little dessert gem.

Bare Life Crème Brulée
Yield: 5 - 4 oz. ramekins
Ingredients
1 – 13.5 oz. can coconut milk
6 Tbsp. (3/8) cup Bare Life
1 tsp. gelatin
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon, optional for a Mexican hot chocolate flavor
Method
Warm all ingredients in saucepan on high heat.
Whisk continuously to avoid lumps.
Turn heat off just before boiling.
Pour into ramekins.
Cool in refrigerator to set.
Notes
*Optional, top with additional maple syrup or honey. For a traditional hard shell, sprinkle with coconut sugar & burn using a kitchen torch following manufacturer’s instructions. I enjoy using Singing Dog Vanilla Coconut Sugar for this option or simply sprinkling it on top without the burnt top.
